The Colombian city of Medellin has stepped in to host the world ranking event and Americas’ qualifier for the Birmingham 2022 World Games, which was initially scheduled to take place on the first week of November in Monterrey, Mexico.

In July, the Mexican federation announced it would be unable to run the competition.

Although the location of the event will change, the dates will not – as the qualification process for the World Games must be completed before the end of 2021.

The Colombian archery federation is currently making hotel arrangements and will issue an invitation package soon.
