London 2012 Olympic silver medalist Aida is the most experienced – and decorated – archer in the Mexican women’s team. She’s been through it all. From glory at the Olympics in 2012 to feeling highly pressured by the media after losing early at Rio 2016. She has proven strong enough to remain a contender, arriving at her fourth Olympics. She has finished in the top 10 in three out of four internationals this year. Aida also has probably the most talented team of her career alongside her in Alejandra Valencia and Ana Vazquez. Mexico has options for success in Tokyo.
