Soon-to-be four-time Olympian and reigning Pan American Games Champion Crispin Duenas has been the best Canadian archer through three decades. The part-time teacher has always been an impressive qualifier but has not always put things together on the eliminations field. It’s something that he’s been working on – developing the killer instinct required to perform head-to-head in major events when it matters. He’s always had the quality to go all the way, this time in both individual and mixed team events for Canada, but only if he can severely improve his 1-3 (25%) win record at the Olympics.
