Mexican archer Samuel Molina reached the number one position in the World Archery world ranking in the recurve men open para-archery category on May 1.
A few days before this achievement, Molina was crowned Parapan American champion in Sao Paulo by defeating Hector Julio Ramirez of Colombia with a tiebreaker arrow.
The Mexican archer is also the reigning champion of the Pan American Games in Santiago 2023.
Molina will compete in his second Paralympic Games in Paris 2024.
