Brazil won these spots in different events, the first of them during the World Championships in Berlin last year.
D’Almeida won the bronze medal and the Olympic quota for Brazil in this competition.
The recurve women’s quota was won during the Pan American Games in Santiago de Chile, also last year, where Ana Machado was Pan American runner-up.
The pair of D’Almeida and Caetano were crowned Pan American champions this year at the Pan American Championship in Medellin after defeating the Mexican team in tiebreaker arrows.
Another great result of this duo was in the fourth stage of the 2022 World Cup in Medellin where Caetano and D’Almeida defeated the Korean team for the bronze medal 6-2.
