Brady Ellison of the United States and Alejandra Usquiano of Colombia conquered Nimes from start to finish of the competition.

Both archers managed to qualify in the first position in the most demanding Indoor World Series event of the season so far.

Ellison faced Florian Unruh in the recurve men’s gold final and claimed victory in the fourth set with a final score of 7-1.

“I love this crowd,” said the Olympic runner-up. “There is so much energy in this room. It’s one of the best events out there.”

Usquiano faced Jyothi Surekha Vennam of India in the compound women’s final.

The Colombian started the match with a solid score and built up a three-point lead in the fourth end.

In the last end, nerves got the better of Usquiano but she was able to win the match with a one-point difference 147-146.

The next World Indoor Series event will be in Chicago from February 13-14, followed by The Vegas Shoot from March 5-9.
