World Archery Americas is recognized by World Archery as the continental association leading the sport of archery in the Americas. It works towards empowering its Member Associations to design and implement strategic development plans to achieve high governance standards, sport development, international participation, and for their athletes to attain outstanding results at world class events.

A future with strong and properly governed National Archery Member Associations (hereafter Member Associations) in the Americas with athletes from most of our Member Associations excelling at major international events. A future in which World Archery Americas is recognized by World Archery and by the Multi-Sports Continental bodies in the Americas as an example of a leading continental sports organization

  • Passion: World Archery Americas, its leaders and Member Associations are passionate believers in the beauty and significance of the sport we practice, and we aim to empower our Member Associations to grow the sport at all levels within their own countries.

  • Integrity: World Archery Americas is a respected organization with a clearly written Constitution. We deliver high standards of governance. The leadership of our organization is respected by our Member Associations and by international and continental sports organizations.

  • Inclusion: Archery is a sport for everyone. World Archery Americas favours equal participation of men and women in various positions: athletes, coaches, judges, para classifiers, administrators, and officials.

    In addition, World Archery Americas is proud to be an organization that works hard to attract people with physical disabilities to our sport.

    Our Council and Committee members come from large and small Member Associations geographically located in all the regions of the continent. They represent various ethnical groups and cultures.

  • Teamwork: World Archery Americas believes in the importance of coordinating efforts with our Member Associations, athletes, coaches, judges, and officials to work together to promote the benefits of our sport. Our committees deliver high levels of commitment and contribute to implementing tasks aiming at achieving the vision of our organization.

  • Innovation and Education: World Archery Americas believes in the educational role our sport plays not only in the technical aspects, but in its life-long impact on the sustained development of our archers, coaches, and officials. We make innovative steps to achieve our goals.
