Every four years, the most important multi-sport event of our continent takes place, the Pan American and Parapan American Games.
For the first time, the Games will be held on Chilean soil, in Santiago this November.
Historically, the United States has dominated the archery medal table but in recent years a wider variety of countries have reached the top of the Pan American podium.
Santiago 2023 will see the compound team competition for the first time. At the last edition in Lima 2019, compound archery was incorporated for the first time in individual and mixed team events.
This year, archery is also back at the Parapan Am Games thanks to the joint efforts of our continent’s federations.
