A total of 38 places will be awarded: 9 in the men’s compound and recurve categories, 7 in the women’s compound and recurve, and 3 for the W1 category, for both women and men.

The first qualifying spots in the compound and recurve events will be determined in the doubles competition.

The remaining 14 spots will be allocated based on the final individual rankings of the medal events.

Countries that have not yet secured spots will have the opportunity to do so at the second and final qualifying event, scheduled for March of next year during the Hyundai World Archery Para Series in Fortaleza, Brazil.

Archery will be one of the four sports in which competition will begin before the official opening of the Parapan American Games; the official practice session will take place on August 17, and the final day of medal competition will be August 21, one day after the opening ceremony.
