The MICA or Multi-site 18 meters Championship of the Americas is a free-to-play, mass-participation remote international tournament that takes place from January to June each year.
National federations register to participate and are responsible for collecting and submitting scores from participant archers in their countries. World Archery Americas compiles all the results and announces the winners on its website at the end of the event.
The tournament uses the standard World Archery format in which 60 arrows are shot at 18 meters.
Archers compete in different categories divided by types of bow, ages and para divisions. A complete list of each of the participating categories is published each year.
An additional team competition takes place in certain locations.
The most recent edition of the MICA took place for the entire year in 2020, having been extended due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The next edition is scheduled from January to October 2021.
