Thirty spots for the Asuncion 2025 Pan American Junior Games will be up for grabs this week at the Pan American Youth Championships in San Salvador, El Salvador.

The Pan American Youth and Masters 2024 Championships take place from May 8-12, with a total of 21 participating countries and 234 athletes.

In addition to the championships’ own competitions, an independent parallel event will be held for those athletes in search of tickets to Asunción.

“Enough registrations have been received from archers born in 2005 or later to compete in the U21 categories for World Archery Americas to be able to distribute all the slots described in the qualification system,” commented Sergio Font, technical delegate for the Games.

The archery qualification system for the Junior Pan American Games will have two main tournaments that will award slots.

The first one is the Pan American Championships in San Salvador, which will grant ten spots in recurve and five for compound in each gender.

The second tournament will be held in Buenos Aires, Argentina from March 18-23, 2025, where 30 places will also be available.
