USA won three gold medals in the team events at the Pan American Championships in Tlaxcala, in the recurve and the compound men’s categories.

In the recurve women’s final, Casey Kaufhold, Olivia Martin, and Jennifer Mucino faced the host team from Mexico, consisting of Angela Ruiz, Alejandra Valencia, and Ana Paula Vazquez.

The Americans secured the victory in the third set with a final score of 5–1 in sets.

In the recurve men’s event, Brady Ellison, Nicholas D’Amour, and Christian Stoddard defeated the Colombian team of Santiago Arcila, Santiago Cruz, and Jorge Enriquez for the gold.

The match was decided in the fourth set, 5-3.

Gaius Carter, James Lutz, and Louis Price of USA also faced off against the Colombian team.

Sebastian Arenas, Pablo Gomez, and Jagdeep Singh put up a fight early in the match, tying the overall score against the Americans.

In the second set, USA shot a perfect score, taking a two-point lead, which they managed to hold onto until the end of the match with a final score of 236–234.

Mexico took the gold in the compound women’s category against Colombia, which had qualified in first place with a new continental record.

The Mexican team—Andrea Becerra, Adriana Castillo, and Dafne Quintero—shot a perfect score in the first end, but the Colombian team—Sara Lopez, Mariana Rodriguez, and Alejandra Usquiano—did not fall behind and also shot a perfect score with their first arrows.

The match remained close and was decided in a shoot-off.

Both teams scored 29, but Becerra’s X was closer to the center, giving the Mexican team the victory.

In addition to the medals won in the team competitions, the first qualifying spots for the 2027 Pan American Games in Lima were also awarded.

USA, Colombia, and Mexico secured full quotas in all four categories.
