The San Salvador 2023 Central American and Caribbean Games kicked off today with 114 athletes.

Bahamas, Barbados, Bermuda, Colombia, Costa Rica, Cuba, Curacao, Dominican Republic, El Salvador, Guadeloupe, Guyana, U.S. Virgin Islands, British Virgin Islands, Jamaica, Mexico, Martinique, Panama, Puerto Rico, Trinidad and Tobago, Venezuela and Guatemala under the flag of Centro Caribe Sports are the countries participating in this sporting event from July 2 to 7.

 

What is at stake

Both compound men’s and women’s teams will participate for the first time in this edition, which will have a total of nine events for gold medals.

There will also be 4 individual tickets available, one for each category, to the Pan American Games in Santiago 2023.

These places can be obtained by countries that do not have a spot at the Pan American Games as long as they are in the first 8 places of the final ranking.
